It’s that time again! Time for one of CS4U’s favorite award shows of all time; the Teen Choice Awards!
Similar to the Kid’s Choice Awards, the TCA’s are super special because it is one of the most intimate award shows between fans and their favorite celebs. For this specific show, only voters from the ages of 13-19 are allowed to chime in and give their opinion on who should win the coveted surfboard for the endless list of nominees.
Co- hosted by Josh Peck, Ludacris, and Gina Rodriguez, this year’s TCA’s will be airing tonight at 8/7c on FOX!
Here are our reasons to tune in…
1. Award Categories
Out of all the award shows out there, the Teen Choice Awards without a doubt, has the best award categories. From the infamous “Choice Lip Lock” to “Choice Hissy Fit,” the nominees of the TCA’s are unbeatable. What are some of your faves?!
2. Celebs
This award show is one of the few if not only, that has celebs of all ages! From single digit aged stars to teen queens, and superstars, past attendees include: Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears, Jessica Alba, Zac Efron, Bella Thorne, Zendaya, Demi Lovato, Rachael McAdams, Ryan Gosling and so many more!
3. Fashion
While most shows are known for red carpet events with stunning gowns and to-die- for shoes, the TCA’s allow artists to show us a side of their every day self. Dressing cute, casual, these carpet looks are some that fans can totally steal!
4. Uncensored Fun
Music, Laughter, Impromptu moments and more! This award show is filled with endless fun, props, sets, lights, and everything in between. Stars never seem as at ease as they do at this show and with the fans in the audience, as well, there’s absolutely no chance of a dull moment!
5. Authenticity
Some thing we may not think about is how nervous some celebs may be when accepting awards in front of their peers and fans. We think, they’re used to all of the attention, but most are totally out of their comfort zone in this type of situation. The Teen Choice Awards has brought tears, laughter, strength and so much more to their show each and every year. Who could forget Lea Michele and cast of Glee tribute to the late and missed Cory Monteith?
