Actress and Singer Diamond White Leads Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur Series

Disney has finally announced the full cast for Disney Channel’s upcoming 2022 animated series, Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.

The show will star actress and singer Diamond White as the 13-year-old whiz kid, Lunella Lafayette. Based on the 2015 comic series, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur will follow Lunella as she opens a time-vortex that sends her 10-ton T-Rex named Devil Dinosaur into present-day New York City. The pair will then work together to protect Manhattan from any danger.

Devil Dinosaur will be voiced by Fred Tatasciore, who also starred in Marvel’s Avengers Assemble series, and Lunella’s grandmother, Mimi, will be voiced by Alfre Woodward (Marvel’s Luke Cage). Libe Barer, Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live), Jermaine Fowler (Superior Donuts), and Gary Anthony Williams (Disney’s Doc McStuffins) will also be bringing the rest of the characters to life.

The series executive producer Laurence Fishburne will be reacquiring his voicing role as The Beyonder, who is often seen as a trickster in Marvel’s celestial stories. This will be Fishburne’s latest role in the Marvel universe since his role in 2018’s Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur was first teased back in 2018 and was confirmed at the 2019 D23 expo event. Though there isn’t an exact release date for the series, it’s set to debut on Disney Channel and we can’t wait!
