Addison Rae is going home!
The 21-year-old creator is giving fans a never-before-seen look at her life away from the spotlight as she reconnects with her roots for a new series called Addison Rae Goes Home.
Produced by Maven and set to premiere on Snapchat’s Discover Page in 2022, Addison Rae Goes Home follows the “Obsessed” singer and TikTok star returning to her roots in Louisiana after her rise to superstardom. As she heads home for the first time since achieving Hollywood success, Addison will show fans a more personal side than they have ever seen before.
The new reality series isn’t the first time that Snapchat has given fans an inside look at the lives of their favorite creators. The social media platform has produced shows like Endless featuring Summer McKeen and Dylan Jordan for three seasons, followed by Andre Swilley and Gabby Morrison for their fourth; Twinning Out featuring Niki and Gabi DeMartino, Nikita Unfiltered featuring Nikita Dragun among others.
Addison Rae Goes Home is apart of the brand’s new content slate, which also features an inspirational series with Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry called Level Up with Stephen Curry, which will follow the two-time NBA MVP as he mentors the next generation of stars and empower them to raise their game – both on and off the court – in ways they never thought possible.
Snap Originals are shows made exclusively for Snapchat by some of the world’s greatest storytellers and made for the unique behaviors of mobile. Like all Shows on Snapchat, they are vertical full screen, fast-paced and hyper-visual— and it’s been a big success, with Snap having released over 130 Snap Original series to date. Snapchat reaches 90% of all 13-24 year-olds and 75% of all 13-34 year-olds in countries like the U.S., UK, France, Australia and the Netherlands. In the second half of 2020, over 85% of the Gen Z population watched a Snap Original.
