Alli’s relatable song tackles the feeling we’ve all had before: when you’re not taken seriously because adults older than you think you’re too young to understand what you want. The song was actually co-written by Frankie Jonas, who uses the pseudonym Mephisto. Celeb Secrets: What has your experience been like recording this track?
Alli Haber: Even though I’ve written several songs before on my own, this was the first one that I had professionally recorded and produced. It was such an amazing, collaborative, and creative experience that opened up a whole new world of writing for me. I completely fell in love with the process.
Celeb Secrets: How did the song idea happen?
Alli Haber: The concept for “Too Young” was kicked around in a writing session and we all immediately loved the message of the song. We wanted to write about something upbeat and relatable. It all happened so organically and from that point on, the lyrics and melodies just came to life.
Celeb Secrets: What was your favorite part of creating your music video?
Alli Haber: Filming the music video was such a fun experience! I had such a blast throughout the 2 days and especially loved filming the beach scenes in LA. It was so cool to see how everything came together.
Celeb Secrets: What was it like having this song co-written with Frankie Jonas?
Alli Haber: Frankie is such a talented producer and a really awesome person. I feel like he brought out the best in me and working with him was super easy. There were just good vibes throughout the entire process.

Celeb Secrets: Who are some of your dream artists to collaborate with?
Alli Haber: Three artists who I would love to collaborate with are Khalid, Shawn Mendes, and Billie Eilish. They all have really unique artistry and it would be awesome to be able to work with them.
Celeb Secrets: What are you most excited about for 2019 ahead?
Alli Haber: I’m excited to keep working on my music and get more songs out. I can’t wait to get back into the recording studio with Frankie and see how our next song evolves. I’m also super excited to be performing on the 2019 Boys of Summer Tour. There’s been so many good things so far in 2019 and I can’t wait to see where the year takes me.
