Congrats, Bea Miller!

The singer’s widely anticipated debut LP, Not An Apology premiered at #7 on the Billboard  200 chart, #1 on Billboard’s Pop Album Chart, #5 on Billboard’s Digital Album chart and also hit #1 on the iTunes Pop chart and #4 on the iTunes overall album chart in the first week of release.

Not An Apology features several tracks co-written by Bea (including her debut single “Young Blood,” a darkly charged anthem that hit the Billboard Hot 100 soon after its April 2014 release) and mines her everyday experience for unapologetically honest lyrics about everything from bullying and backstabbers to isolation and breakup angst.

To capture the tension between toughness and vulnerability that propels much of Not An Apology, Bea teamed up with producers like busbee (P!nk, Kelly Clarkson), Jarrad Rogers (Icona Pop, Demi Lovato), Mike Del Rio (Kylie Minogue, Selena Gomez), and Matt Squire (Ariana Grande, Ke$ha) to craft a melody-fueled mix of gritty guitar riffs, fuzzed-out grooves, and awesomely heady beats.

Bea, who previously toured with Demi Lovato, is currently on the road with Fifth Harmony.  That tour will culminate in an already sold-out show at New York City’s  Beacon Theater on Aug. 27.   A fall headlining tour is in the works with dates to be announced shortly.
