At Celeb Secrets, one of our favorite holiday traditions is to see the Lythgoe Family Panto (LFP) in Pasadena, California every year. We’ve been to them all — A Cinderella Christmas starring Lauren Taylor, Alex Newell and Morgan Fairchild, Peter Pan and Tinker Bell – A Pirates Christmas starring Sabrina Carpenter and John O’Hurley, Sleeping Beauty and Her Winter Knight starring Olivia Holt and Lucy Lawless, Aladdin and His Winter Wish starring Ben Vereen, Jordan Fisher, and Ashley Argota – and A Snow White Christmas starring Ariana Grande and Neil Patrick Harris.
So when we were invited to see LFP’s newest show Beauty and the Beast: A Christmas Rose on opening night (December 13), we OBVIOUSLY couldn’t say no. Starring our favorite Disney and Nickelodeon stars, LFP blend the true meaning of the holidays with today’s biggest pop tunes, making it the absolute perfect night out.
And let us tell you, this year’s show definitely did not disappoint.
With the uber-talented Kelli Berglund as Belle and Wicked‘s Jonah Platt as the Beast, Beauty and the Beast: A Christmas Rose took the Disney classic to new levels with its choreography by La La Land’s Mandy Moore and comedic jokes that everyone from ages 2 through 82 laughed at. It was absolutely magical!
