Bebe Rexha took to Twitter today (April 14) to announce that her long-awaited sophomore album Better Mistakes will be released on May 7.
The “Meant To Be” singer’s debut album Expectations was released in 2018 and although Rexha has released music since then, such as her collaboration with Doja Cat on “Baby, I’m Jealous” and her standalone single “Sacrifice,” she’s been keeping her fans waiting for another album for far too long.

Along with the album announcement, Rexha also shared the official album cover art which displays the album title in neon green text with Rexha in the background rocking a Beetlejuice-esque striped bodysuit in blue lighting.
Rexha knew her fans wouldn’t be able to way until May 7 for new music so she later tweeted that her next single, “Sabotage,” will be released this Friday on April 16.
Although Rexha hasn’t shared a tracklisting of Better Mistakes, we can only assume that “Sabotage” will likely feature on it.
Considering it has been a few years since Rexha’s last album release, the hitmaker got a little emotional after sharing the news of her new album. She posted a video of herself crying stating that it’s her first album in three years and that it’s taken so long for her to work on new stuff because of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

Since her debut EP, I Don’t Wanna Grow Up, in 2015 the Brooklyn-born singer-songwriter has made quite a mark in the music industry. From writing hits for other artists such as Eminem and Rihanna’s “The Monster” to earning two Grammy nominations in 2019, Rexha’s a force to be reckoned with and we’re sure Better Mistakes will prove no different.
