Billie Eilish is partnering with Disney+ to release an exclusive concert film!
The GRAMMY award-winning artist will debut her film, Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles, on the streaming platform in September. Directed by Robert Rodriguez and Patrick Osbourne, the film will showcase Eilish as she performs her upcoming album, Happier Than Ever, in its entirety at the Hollywood Bowl.
For the concert, the “NDA” singer will team up with her brother and producer, FINNEAS. The Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by Gustavo Dudamel will also join her along with the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus and world renowned Brazilian guitarist, Romero Lubambo, with orchestra arrangements by David Campbell.
In addition to the performance, the film will include “animated elements” and take viewers on a “dreamlike journey” throughout Los Angeles and its must-see attractions.

In a statement, Eilish spoke about how excited she is for the film. She said, “Disney is incredibly iconic, so to collaborate on something like this is a huge honor. To be able to present my album in this way and dedicate it to the city that I love and grew up in is so exciting to me. I hope you love it.”
Rodriguez also talked about what it was like working with Eilish and Finneas on the project. He said, “We are all huge admirers of Billie and Finneas here in our household. They are such impressive, world class talents that it’s a real honor to work with them on this film. The way the narrative story and animated pieces weave through her incredible concert performance, makes this a spectacular event that is truly unique.”
Eilish’s upcoming second studio album, Happier Than Ever, comes out on July 30. Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles premieres on Disney+ on September 3.
