‘Bridgerton’ Has Been Renewed for a Second Season

Grab your corsets and fancy suits! Netflix just announced that period-drama series, Bridgerton, will be returning for a second season.

The streaming service announced the renewal of the show by posting a special edition of Lady Whistledown’s Society Paper. The letter revealed that this upcoming season will be centered on Anthony Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey), the eldest sibling of the Bridgerton family. Lady Whistledown also announces that the show will be returning to production in Spring 2021.

The first season of Bridgerton focused on Daphne Bridgerton, played by Phoebe Dynevor, the eldest daughter of the family as she makes her debut into society during the social season and her journey to finding a suitable marriage partner. Season two is predicted to follow a similar storyline with Anthony.
