Caye Officially Drops His Debut Album, “Pink Tree Paradise”

One of the hottest emerging artists to come across our obsession-list radar is definitely Caye, a Boston-native rapper, producer, and singer-songwriter who is brilliant at blending genres. He wowed us with his current single, “Easy” featuring Wiz Khalifa, and the recent “Pink Tree (Intro”) preview. But now, Caye has officially dropped his entire debut album, Pink Tree Paradise. Spoiler alert: it is as epic as the teaser singles all suggested.

Caye Album Pink Tree Paradise

The album, which was written by Caye with his co-writer DAWGUS (who also produced the record), is a solid debut with an easy and carefree vibe that’s perfect for transporting us into those first days of summer. You can press play on this work and feel like you’re hanging out in the sun and surf of paradise, shaded by only beautiful palm trees. (Pink ones, of course.)

But beyond those obvious summer vibes, we have a feeling Caye’s mesmerizing tunes will be sticking around our favorites playlist long into the other seasons ahead. The blend of rap, hip hop, reggae, jazz, and rock beats is truly something special.

Pink Tree Paradise is about being free and loving life,” the artist shared in a press statement about the release.

“It’s my debut album with my producer. We’ve been wanting to do music full time forever, but we had to juggle school and sports and what not,” Caye added in Celeb Secrets‘ recent exclusive interview with him. And finally he took a leave of absence from school and made this album. It’s been our professional career for the last almost a year or so now. So it’s fun to be like, that’s what it’s about for me, just like being freed and making music.”

We’re so excited the album is finally here — and we know you’ll be hooked too.
