Over 200 of Hollywood’s youngest and most well-known stars came together for the 2nd Annual Young Entertainer Awards (YEA) last Sunday (March 19) in Los Angeles.
Held at Universal Studios’ Globe Theater, some of our favorite young entertainers walked the red carpet, including Alisha Marie, Mia Stammer, Asia Monet Ray, Elliana Walmsley, and Sean Ryan Fox.Â
“We are so proud of our second annual YEA Awards. We know how hard it is to work in the entertainment industry and to maintain a successful career,†shares Alitzah Wiener, President of The Young Entertainer Awards and founder of the Young Entertainer Foundation. “So often we celebrate the teens, adults at their peek, but we want to celebrate the kids just starting out, those in full bloom and encourage them as they move forward and honor their hard work and dedication thus far. This marked another great year for us and we are excited to see these kids continue to excel and meet new talent breaking into the industry next year.â€
During the ceremony, starlets enjoyed a buffet sit down lunch as presenters revealed the winners of each category. They were also treated to a dynamic dance routine by professional hip-hop dancer Lindsay Taylor (Lady Gaga, Meghan Trainor) and her student dancers Lyric and Abby Matthews and two musical performances — one by America’s Got Talent finalists Musicality and actress Shahadi Joseph (NBC’s Hairspray Live!).
