CelebSecrets4U attends Captain America: The Winter Soldier Press Conference! (@CaptainAmerica)

Screen Shot 2014-04-01 at 2.25.11 AMWe were invited to the “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” press conference in Beverly Hills, which included the cast and crew, The Russo brothers, Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, and Producer Kevin Feige, to talk about the film.

A majority of the questions were aimed towards Scarlett Johansson, as she plays The Black Widow and represents that girls can kick butt too. This is the third time Scarlett is playing the Black Widow and her character has definitely evolved since we first saw her in The Avengers. “We saw a little bit of her in Avengers and we saw a bit of her back story, but – and we’ll see more of that in Avengers II.” In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, “We really get to see Natasha as a person who gets up, gets ready for work in the morning, has a life outside of just her job once she’s out of the suit. “

Many actors like building a back story when they read a script, however The Winter Soldier, is considered a man of mystery.  When asked about the research going into the character, Sebastian Stan talked about how he was educated mostly before the first film and how this role is a just a little bit different version of the character, but “at the end of the day was trying to kind of walk away from it having left some type of mix of the new with some of the old aspects that you would sort of remember when you would see it in its entirety.”

Chris Evans spends a lot of time in Captain America’s suit, when he was asked if it is still exciting when he picks up the shield he said, “It always feels like it gets tighter…it’s exciting and it’s humbling and it’s an honor to jump back into it no matter how uncomfortable it is.”

Scarlett Johannson has been in the entertainment industry for many years, when she was asked about being a role model for girls who want a female onscreen who helps out her costar who is guy, Scarlett said, “I think one of the things that’s very attractive to me about the character is that she uses her feminine wiles as kind of a part of her job, but she doesn’t rely on her sexuality or kind of appeal, physical appeal to get the job done. “

In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, there are many twists and turns throughout the whole movie.  When Samuel L. Jackson also known as Nick Fury, first read the script he was excited because he gets to his character grow in each film and he “realized that it was a bit more than just a comic book feature” this is because when you watch the film you are going to have to think about the plot and what is happening at that moment.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits theaters everywhere April 4.
