We were invited to a special screening of Captain America: The Winter Soldier! We headed out to AMC in Century City to breakdown Marvel’s latest film.
“Most of the intelligence community doesn’t believe he exists. The ones that do call him the Winter Soldier. He’s a ghost, you’ll never find him…”
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the newest action and adventure packed film from Marvel Studios continuing the adventures of Steve Rogers aka Captain America. Captain America: The Winter Soldier picks up after all of the events with The Avengers in New York City, with Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) living peacefully in Washington D.C adjusting to the modern world.
When a S.H.I.E.L.D colleague comes under attack, Steve gets involved with conspiracy and mystery, which threatens to put the world at risk. All while keeping, Nick Fury’s (Samuel L. Jackson) words in Captain’s head “Don’t trust anybody.” Captain America joins forces with Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) as they struggle to expose the conspiracy while enemies are sent to destroy them and anyone else who is a threat.
As you’re watching the movie and the plot starts to unravel, we see Captain and Black Widow get the help of a new ally known as the Falcon (Anthony Mackie), an ex-paratrooper trained by the military, because everyone is trying to kill them. However, they all soon find themselves up against the main enemy known as The Winter Soldier( Sebastian Stan).
The film was filled with much action, adventure, but the movie also has much sense of humor, delivered by supporting players Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Emily VanCamp, Hayley Atwell, and Robert Redford.
The actors in this film gave an outstanding performance, which made this movie even better, the story line was amazing and is sure to please all fans and movie goers! We would consider this one of the best super hero movies we have seen in a while.
Make sure to stay until the very end to see a bonus scene at the end.
