Citizen Four Gains and Loses a Member

Founding member Josh Levi is being replaced by newcomer Mikey Fusco.

Citizen Four has some good news… and some not-so-good news. The four-piece boy band announced over the weekend that one of their founding members Josh Levi is leaving the group to pursue his own solo projects. But remaining members Conner and Carson Boatman and Austin Percario also revealed that they have a new member joining the band, 18-year-old performer Mikey Fusco from New Jersey.

“The bad news is that we’re very very sad to announce that Josh is leaving Citizen Four. There’s no drama – we all remain good friends. We love Josh and wish him the absolute best for his next chapter. We’ve had a fun 12 months together and we will miss him, a lot!!” the band shared on Instagram. “But in life, change is always inevitable, so don’t be too sad for too long, as for every door that closes a new one opens and we got very lucky, sooner than we expected!”

If you’re anything like us, you’re likely feeling really conflicted about this announcement. But all of the guys want you to know that there is absolutely no bad blood happening behind the scenes, and this is an exciting moment for everyone.

Josh took to Twitter to share his best wishes for his former bandmates.

The 18-year-old also told fans he’s just looking forward to reintroducing himself as a solo performer.

Meanwhile, C4 gave a warm initiation to Mikey, who they have already seem to have bonded with.

“Welcome to the fam @iammikeyfusco,” the band posted on Instagram, sharing their first official group photo in their new arrangement.

While Mikey may be new to the boy band life, he’s no stranger to the impeccable dance moves that C4 is known to perform during their shows. In fact, you may remember that he once competed on America’s Best Dance Crew as a member of the group “ICONic Boyz.”

Of course, he’s only getting better.

His vocals are on point too, and his style seems to blend perfectly with what Citizen Four has already established.

We’re looking forward to both what unique talents Mikey will bring to C4 and how Josh will establish himself as an undoubtedly awesome solo career!
