Summer may be coming to a close, but our love for new music is just heating up!
On Saturday (August 25), all of our favorite teen-breakout stars like Echosmith, CNCO, In Real Life, Kim Petras, and AJ Mitchell came together to perform their biggest hits at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day 2018 in New York City. Hosted by Skai Jackson and Alex Aiono, fans were able to sing along to each artists’ biggest hits while honoring the legacy and impact of Arthur Ashe.
“It’s an absolute blessing to be here at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day,” CNCO told Celeb Secrets exclusively. “We’re super excited to be performing here, especially after all the of artists that have passed through here we’ve looked up to.”
In addition to the amazing performances, tennis icons Serena Williams, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Angelique Kerber and Madison Keys hit the court for special matches to get everyone excited for the 2018 U.S. Open Tennis Championships, which runs from August 27th through September 9th.
One biggest of the highlights of the afternoon was when students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School took the stage to perform their original song “Shine.” Joined by the entire cast, everyone on stage and in the audience took a moment of silence to remember the victims from February’s heartbreaking shooting.
