Cole Allen Shares One of His Favorite Memories from Filming Showtime’s “Kidding”

Cole Allen may be young, however, his talent is far beyond his age. The 13-year-old has not one, but two roles in Showtime’s Kidding and stars alongside Jim Carrey and Judy Greer!

The Golden Globe-nominated dramedy follows the iconic children’s television host Mr. Pickles (Carrey), as he works to get through a major family crisis and heartbreak. Cole shines as Will and Phil Pickles, twin boys of Mr. Pickles, one of which (Phil) passed away in a tragic car crash.

Named one of the top 15 breakout stars of fall TV by TV Guide, Celeb Secrets sat down with the young actor to get to know him the only way we know how to — secrets.

Keep scrolling to learn more about Cole and make sure to catch Kidding on Sundays @ 10PM ET on Showtime. You can keep up with Cole by following him on Instagram at @coleallenofficial.

There was a scene in season 1 of Kidding where I was eating dinner with Jim Carrey, Judy Greer and Justin Kirk. Over the course of shooting the scene I ate 5 plates of meatloaf and mashed potatoes. We then we broke for lunch and I ate a full plate of fettuccini Alfredo. Everyone on set was impressed–and a little scared!

When I was four years old I wore a Darth Vader costume for about 8 months straight, every day. I even wore it to meet Santa, and we have a picture of me in it sitting on his lap.

At home in Texas, my family fosters tiny kittens and old pit bulls from our local animal shelter. When I’m working in LA I miss my pets so I volunteer at an animal rescue center every chance I get.

I love to film stunts. I have been lucky to work with stunt coordinator Shauna Duggins and she has taught me so much.

I love to travel. I spent 10 days in Seoul, South Korea and it was amazing! If I could go anywhere in the world tomorrow, I would jump on a plane to Scotland.
