Every Thursday, we introduce you to new country tunes from Music City’s hottest rising stars. Today, meet Dakota Bradley—a 20-year-old singer/songwriter that is ready to make a name for himself in the world of country music.
At 12, Dakota picked up an old guitar in the family basement and spent the entire day learning songs on it. He never put it back down, and was soon listening to bands like Guns & Roses, Aerosmith, and Mötley Crüe. When he discovered the heart-tugging lyrics of country music a few years later though, he knew he had found a home. Dakota Bradley was discovered on YouTube by one of the Ellen DeGeneres Show producers that quickly lead to a performance on the popular national daytime show. The buzz created from the show caught the attention of Grammy award-winning producer and co-owner of Streamsound Records, Byron Gallimore. The rest, as they say, is history.
This year, Dakota released a brand new single titled “Won’t Be Young Forever” and has been touring all over the country for a special radio tour. In the coming weeks, Dakota plans on releasing a new single and performing at stadiums on mentor Tim McGraw‘s Sundown Heaven Town Tour.
