A head cheerleader’s life takes an unexpected twist when her rifle-like throwing arm takes her from the sidelines to becoming her middle school’s starting quarterback in Nickelodeon’s newest live-action comedy series, Bella and the Bulldogs, and CS4U has the scoop straight from the cast on what you can expect from the series!
Bella and the Bulldogs follows Bella Dawson (Brec Bassinger), a confident, caring and talented teenager, suddenly finding herself fulfilling a lifelong dream but also having to navigate the world of her teammates Troy (Coy Stewart), Sawyer (Jackie Radinsky) and Newt (Buddly Handelson), without losing her two best friends, Pepper (Hayley Tju) and Sophie (Lilimar) from the cheer squad.
In tonight’s episode titled “Romantically Challenged,” Bella (Brec Bassinger) must navigate a difficult situation when Troy (Coy Stewart) and Sawyer (Jackie Radinsky) fight over who will be her top receiver.
Meanwhile, Sophie (Lilimar) and Pepper (Hayley Tju) have trouble with their first cheer bake sale now that Bella’s otherwise engaged.
Later last year, CS4U was invited to check out the set of the new Nickelodeon series and chat with the cast! In our interview, Brec, Lilimar, Hayley, Coy, Jackie and Buddy talked about their characters and how they relate to them, their favorite part about being on Bella and the Bulldogs, what its like filming at the iconic Nick on Sunset, and some on-set secrets we didn’t know about — including the fact that the set is HAUNTED!
