We are less than a week away from the 2015 Teen Choice Awards and we can’t wait to find out who’s going to take home the coveted surfboard!

This year’s categories have some great nominees, which has definitely made it hard on fans to vote for their favorites. CS4U has the breakdown on who we think the fan favorites really are.

Today, we are sharing our thoughts on who will be taking home the surfboard for the following television categories: Choice TV Show: Drama, Choice TV Actor: Drama, Choice TV Actress: Drama, Choice TV Show: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Choice TV Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Choice TV Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Choice TV Show: Comedy, Choice TV Actor: Comedy, Choice TV Actress: Comedy, Choice TV: Animated Show, and Choice TV: Reality ShowCheck out our predictions below!

The 2015 Teen Choice Awards airs this SUNDAY, August 16th @ 8PM ET/PT on FOX.

Choice TV Show: Drama

  • “Castle”
  • “Empire”
  • “Grey’s Anatomy”
  • “Nashville”
  • “Pretty Little Liars”
  • “The Fosters”

Although we love and appreciate all of these shows, we think Empire is going to take home the award this year. The TV show blew up during its first season. Everywhere you looked someone was tweeting or writing about the show and each week the audience grew, especially on social media. The show even took home the award for ‘Program of the Year’ at the TCA Awards. We think fans will pull through and give the show the surfboard it deserves.

Choice TV Actor: Drama

  • Keegan Allen – “Pretty Little Liars”
  • Jake T. Austin – “The Fosters”
  • Nathan Fillion – “Castle”
  • Ian Harding – “Pretty Little Liars”
  • Terrence Howard – “Empire”
  • Jussie Smollett – “Empire”
We know the men from “Pretty Little Liars” always receive a lot of love in this category. Last year, Ian Harding took home the award and now both Ian and Keegan Allen have been nominated again. Although we love Keegan, we think Ian Harding is going home with the surfboard again. Girls just can’t seem to get enough of the hot and protective former teacher/coffee shop owner. Plus, we’re all rooting for Ezria!

Choice TV Actress: Drama

  • Lucy Hale – “Pretty Little Liars”
  • Taraji P. Henson – “Empire”
  • Maia Mitchell – “The Fosters”
  • Shay Mitchell – “Pretty Little Liars”
  • Hayden Panettiere – “Nashville”
  • Kerry Washington – “Scandal”

Speaking of Ezria, we predict that Lucy Hale will win again this year. Girls of all ages seem to connect with Aria, and with the publicity the show has received because it’s FINALLY going to reveal who A is (PRAISE!), all eyes have been on “Pretty Little Liars.” Although Shay Mitchell is going to be a tough contender, Lucy also has her country music fans to push her through to the top.

Choice TV Show: Sci-Fi/Fantasy

  • “Arrow”
  • “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
  • “Once Upon a Time”
  • “Sleepy Hollow”
  • “The 100”
  • “The Vampire Diaries”

The Vampire Diaries usually takes home the award in this category and we think it will happen again this year. Although Nina Dobrev is no longer on the show, we are pretty confident the show’s fans still have its back.

Choice TV Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy

  • Stephen Amell – “Arrow”
  • Joseph Morgan – “The Originals”
  • Bob Morley – “The 100”
  • Jared Padalecki – “Supernatural”
  • Ian Somerhalder – “The Vampire Diaries”
  • Paul Wesley – “The Vampire Diaries”

Since we think “The Vampire Diairies” is going to take home Choice TV Show: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, we expect one of the guys from the show to walk away with the Choice TV Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy surfboard. Ian Somerhalder usually takes home this award, which is why we think he will be taking it home again. Fans just love him. Sorry Paul Wesley!

Choice TV Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy

  • Candice Accola – “The Vampire Diaries”
  • Nina Dobrev – “The Vampire Diaries”
  • Jennifer Morrison – “Once Upon A Time”
  • Danielle Panabaker – “The Flash”
  • Emily Bett Rickards – “Arrow”
  • Eliza Taylor – “The 100”

We expect Nina Dobrev’s loyal fans to vote for her again in this category. Since Nina is no longer on the show, this is the last chance for her to win in this category as an actress for “The Vampire Diaries.” We wouldn’t be surprised if fans of the show were at their computers religiously voting every day to make sure her time on the show ends on a positive note.

Choice TV Show: Comedy

  • “Austin & Ally”
  • “Awkward”
  • “Girl Meets World”
  • “New Girl”
  • “The Big Bang Theory”
  • “Young & Hungry”

All of these shows give us a good laugh, but we think The Big Bang Theory will take home the surfboard this year. It won the previous year and the show just keeps getting better.

Choice TV Actor: Comedy

  • Anthony Anderson – “Black-ish”
  • Jaime Camil – “Jane The Virgin”
  • Chris Colfer – “Glee”
  • Ross Lynch – “Austin & Ally”
  • Jim Parsons – “The Big Bang Theory”
  • Andy Samberg – “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”

Last year, Ross Lynch went home with the surfboard in this category. However, we think Jim Parsons will take back his rightful place on the throne this year. Sheldon is such a fun character to watch and fans of the show got to see a new side of him toward the end of the season this year.

Choice TV Actress: Comedy

  • Dove Cameron – “Liv and Maddie”
  • Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting – “The Big Bang Theory”
  • Lea Michele – “Glee”
  • Emily Osment – “Young & Hungry”
  • Gina Rodriguez – “Jane the Virgin”
  • Zendaya- “K.C. Undercover”

Just like Nina Dobrev in “The Vampire Diaries”, this is Lea Michele’s last chance to win in this category for her role as Rachel on “Glee.” Lea is known to have very devout fans and she’s been interacting with them now more than ever on social media with her YouFirst hashtag. We expect her fans to put her on top because everyone cherished the character of Rachel.

Choice TV: Animated Show

  • “Adventure Time”
  • “Family Guy”
  • “Gravity Falls”
  • “Regular Show”
  • “Star Wars Rebels”
  • “The Simpsons”

The Simpsons will win this year. Enough said.

Choice TV: Reality Show

  • “American Idol XIV”
  • “Dance Moms”
  • “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”
  • “Lip Sync Battle”
  • “Masterchef Junior”
  • “The Voice”

This is a tough one because several of these nominees have gone home with a win at one award show or another. Although we are keen to choose one of the singing competitions as the winner, we think Keeping Up with the Kardashians will go home with the surfboard. All members of the family have been attracting a lot of attention lately, which will most likely correlate with the amount of votes the show receives. The family has gotten a lot of support this past year and we hope that continues whether the show wins this award or not.
