The countdown to the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards has officially begun!
With only 4 days left until show time, CelebSecrets4U is giving you the breakdown on what you can expect from the summer’s hottest fan-driven music award show on Sunday, August 24th.
Today, we are sharing our thoughts on who will snag the famous moon man for Video of the Year, Best Hip Hop, Best Male, and Best Female.
VIDEO OF THE YEAR:
Iggy Azalea ft. Charli XCX – “Fancy”
Beyoncé ft. JAY Z – “Drunk In Love”
Pharrell Williams – “Happy”
Sia – “Chandelier”
Miley Cyrus – “Wrecking Ball”
Video of the Year is going to have to go to the POWER couple Beyonce and Jay-Z “Drunk in Love.” Queen B has taken over the radio stations once again as soon as she released her album unexpectedly. Drunk In Love was her first single off the self-titled album Beyonce and is our jam everytime we hear it. Beyonce will definitely be taking the moon man home for video of the year.

Drake ft. Majid Jordan – “Hold On (We’re Going Home)”
Childish Gambino – “3005”
Kanye West – “Black Skinhead”

Best Hip Hop award should go to our favorite Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino. Childish has been working so hard to get his music out mainstream and has been one of our favorite underground artists. He started becoming well-known with his single Heartbeat and then his success took off with “3005.” Childish has worked so hard for his success and deserves to take home the moonman.

The moon man DEFINITELY has to go home to the ginger god himself Ed Sheeran. He has been taking the world by storm. He totally deserves this moonman.
BEST FEMALE:

Lorde – “Royals”
Ariana Grande ft. Iggy Azalea – “Problem”
Katy Perry ft. Juicy J – “Dark Horse”
Best Female hands down has to go to miss Ariana Grande. She has been working so hard this past year with hit single after single how can she not win a moon man? She is even opening up the VMAs this year. Ariana has proved herself and why she is a true superstar. She proved she sing and all of her songs have been blowing up the radio and the music charts. Ariana is a force to be reckoned with and deserves this moon man.
