The countdown to the 2015 Billboard Music Awards has officially begun!

With only one day until showtime, CS4U is giving you a breakdown on what you can expect from one of music’s biggest event hosted by Ludacris and Chrissy Teigen.

Today, we are sharing our thoughts on who will be taking home the awards from the following music categories: Top R&B Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Rock Artist, Top Country Artist, Top R&B Album, Top Rap Album, Top Rock Album, Top Country Album, Top R&B Song, Top Rap Song, Top Rock Song, Top Country Song.

Top R&B Artist

  • Beyonce
  • Chris Brown
  • John Legend
  • Trey Songz
  • Pharrell Williams

Every single one of these artists are amazing and it is sooo hard to choose just one! We are going to have to choose John Legend and his angelic voice for this category. He has 7 Billboard nominations this year and we think he will be taking home this award.

Top Rap Artist

  • Iggy Azalea
  • J. Cole
  • Drake
  • Nicki Minaj
  • Rae Sremmurd

This is a tough one for us we think it is going to be a pretty close race between Drake and Iggy Azalea. However, we think Drake will be just hold on because he will be going home with this award. After the drop of his recent album “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” he definitely deserves this award.

Top Rock Artist

  • Bastille
  • Coldplay
  • Fall Out Boy
  • Hozier
  • Lorde

We love all of these artists, but we are going to have to say Hozier will be taking home this award. Hozier is nominated for 5 Billboard awards and we think this will be one of the categories he is winning.

Top Country Artist

  • Jason Aldean
  • Luke Bryan
  • Florida Georgia Line
  • Brantley Gilbert
  • Blake Shelton

We are giving this award to our man Mr. Hottie Luke Bryan. He has had an amazing year! He not only has 4 nominations this year, but his “That’s My Kind of Night Tour” was one of the biggest tours in 2014. He even got his own Country Music Hall of Fame exhibit. This award hands down is going to Mr. Hottie.

  • Beyoncé, Beyoncé
  • Chris Brown, X
  • Michael Jackson, Xscape
  • John Legend, Love in the Future
  • Pharrell Williams, G I R L

We have to give this award to the legend Michael Jackson. In this album, the magnitude of Michael Jackson’s talent is clearly evident in every track of his second collection of unreleased material. Michael deserves this award as his music will always be apart of us.

  • J. Cole, 2014 Forest Hills Drive
  • Drake, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late
  • Nicki Minaj, The Pinkprint
  • Iggy Azalea, The New Classic
  • Eminem, The Marshall Mathers LP 2

This award has to go to Drake! I mean Drake pulled a Beyonce and dropped this album out of nowhere. This album was a little different considering it was an angrier Drake rather than him speaking on behalf of vulnerabilities. Drake has to win this award! We are still jamming to “Legend” in our car.

  • Jason Aldean, Old Boots, New Dirt
  • Garth Brooks, Man Against Machine
  • Luke Bryan, Crash My Party
  • Brantley Gilbert, Just As I Am
  • Miranda Lambert, Platinum

Miranda Lambert’s Platinum album shows a new maturity for one of country music’s favorite overall artists, and the diversity of the project, and the amount of the success of the album all proves why Miranda should be taking home Top Country Album.

  • AC/DC, Rock or Bust
  • The Black Keys, Turn Blue
  • Coldplay, Ghost Stories
  • Hozier, Hozier
  • Lorde, Pure Heroine

We have to give this award to the band who has been around for decades AC/DC. This is a band that has never so much as detoured from its highway to hell over the past four decades. Straight up hard-rocking fun is what you expect with an AC/DC album, and that’s what you get with Rock or Bust. They deserve this award.

  • Chris Brown feat. Lil Wayne, French Montana, Too $hort & Tyga, “Loyal”
  • Jason Derulo feat. 2 Chainz, “Talk Dirty”
  • Jeremih feat. YG, “Don’t Tell ‘Em”
  • John Legend, “All of Me”
  • Pharrell Williams, “Happy”

The most adorable man on the planet John Legend we predict will be taking home this award. First of all he has a voice of an angel. Second of all you know for a fact the song “All of Me” tugged on your heart strings. Third it’s written about his amazing wife and host of the Billboard awards Chrissy Teigen. This was pretty much everyone’s wedding song how can it not win?! John Legend will be a Legend at the Billboard awards for taking home this award.

  • Iggy Azalea feat. Charli XCX, “Fancy”
  • Iggy Azalea feat. Rita Ora, “Black Widow”
  • Big Sean feat. E-40, “I Don’t F— With You”
  • Nicki Minaj, “Anaconda”
  • Bobby Shmurda, “Hot Boy”

We are giving this award to Iggy Azalea feat. Charli XCX “Fancy.” This song is and will forever be stuck in everyone’s heads. You can’t help, but to dance to it. Our girl I-G-G-Y will be taking home this award and she deserves it.

  • Jason Aldean, “Burnin’ It Down”
  • Luke Bryan, “Play It Again”
  • Sam Hunt, “Leave the Night On”
  • Florida Georgia Line feat. Luke Bryan, “This Is How We Roll”
  • Florida Georgia Line, “Dirt”

Okay hands down Top Country Song has to go to Florida Georgia Line Feat. Mr. Hottie Luke Bryan, “This is How We Roll.” Come on that is a no brainer. We not only have an amazing duo, but we have Mr. Hottie’s vocals on this track, which is amazing by the way. Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan will be winning this award because this is how they roll with a Billboard Award.

  • Bastille, “Pompeii”
  • Coldplay, “A Sky Full of Stars”
  • Fall Out Boy, “Centuries”
  • Hozier, “Take Me to Church”
  • Paramore, “Ain’t It Fun”

We are choosing “Ain’t It Fun” by Paramore to win this award. Honestly, it doesn’t matter how many times the radio plays it, we will forever be singing this song at the top of our lungs. They hands down deserve this award because not only is it catchy, but it’s about the struggles of being an adult living in this crazy real world!

The 2015 Billboard Music Awards will be broadcasted LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 17, on ABC from 8:00 PM–11:00 PM ET.
