Dan + Shay Are Absolutely ‘Speechless’ After Winning GRAMMY for Best Country Duo/Group Performance

Dan + Shay show no signs of slowing down.

The Country duo are officially two-time, consecutive GRAMMY Award winners, as they secured the title for Best Country Duo / Group Performance at the 62nd GRAMMY Awards last night (January 26) in Los Angeles.

Adding to its extensive list of accolades, 3x Platinum hit “Speechless” earned music’s biggest honor at last night’s ceremony. The track has more than 715 million global streams and spent four weeks atop the country airplay charts.

“This is one of the coolest moments ever,” Smyers said upon receiving the award. “This is an absolute dream come true. We have always dreamed of being up here on this stage so thank you all so much for making this happen.”

The duo won their first GRAMMY award last year in the same category for their 4x Platinum global smash “Tequila,” which they also performed live on the telecast. Both “Speechless” and “Tequila” hail from their Platinum-certified self-titled album, which spawned three No. 1 songs. Following suit, their current single “10,000 Hours” with superstar Justin Bieber tops the Aircheck / Mediabase chart as well as the Billboard Country Airplay, Hot Country Songs and Country Streaming Songs charts for the second consecutive week.

Dan + Shay will travel to Miami, FL at the end of this week to perform at the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest ahead of the Super Bowl LIV. They will also take the stage before the big game on Sunday, February 2 for the FOX Super Bowl LIV Pregame Show at the NFL Tailgate Tropicale, where they will perform their smash hit “Tequila” (airing at 2:00 pm ET on FOX).
