During this year’s iHeartRadio KIIS FM Wango Tango in Los Angeles, the cast members Danielle Fishel (Topanga Matthews), Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter) and Will Friedle (Eric Matthews) revealed that they are launching a podcast that pays homage to the series that aired on televisions nationwide from 1993-2000.

Titled Pod Meets World, the all-new rewatch podcast will feature Danielle, Rider and Will as they dive into the laughs and tears the series brought for the very first time while sharing behind-the-scenes stories along with special guests.

Danielle broke the news on her shared her Instagram account, sharing her excitement with her 1 million followers.

“We’re going back to school and we want you to come with us! Join @rider_strong, #WillFriedle and me as we travel back to 1993 and rewatch the entire Boy Meets World series for *the very first time.* We will have very special guests, including: @mrbilldaniels, @trinamcgeeofficial and @matthewlawrence (among many others) and we can’t wait to deep dive into the laughs, the tears, and ALLLLLL the behind the scenes stories with you. Follow us @podmeetsworldshow for updates!🌏❤️,” she captioned the photo.

Celeb Secrets reporter Lupe LLerenas caught up with the cast on the pink carpet at iHeartRadio KIIS FM Wango Tangowhere they spilled the tea about Pod Meets World, memories from filming Boy Meets World and what they took away from being on a beloved show for seven seasons.

When asked about the podcast, Rider told Celeb Secrets that he’s ready to see the show again and share it with the fans. “It’s basically us getting together and watching starting with the pilot and going through all seven years of the show,” he said. “I’ve never seen the show so it’s this for me I’m getting to experience what a lot of fans have experienced for the last 30 years.”

The cast also shared some advice they’d give to their younger selves during filming. Danielle said she would tell herself to truly enjoy the moment. “I would tell my younger self to not take any moment for granted because the first five seasons of Boy Meets World, I was like, ‘every single day thrilled to go to work super excited’ and then the last two I started to take it for granted.”

There’s no set release date for Pod Meets World just yet, but the trio tells us that it will be dropping very soon. To learn more about the podcast, watch our full interview with Danielle, Rider and Will below and make sure to follow @podmeetsworldshow for the latest updates.
