Pop artist Deleasa has teamed up with ARTISTdirect to exclusively premiere his new video “Good People” today! Reminiscent of artists such as Mayer Hawthorne and Allen Stone, Deleasa shakes things up while paying homage to his love of funk, pop and Motown.
Michael Deleasa is no stranger to the road, having previously toured in direct support to Olly Murs, Lawson, Jason Castro and The Jonas Brothers. This time around, Deleasa spent last month on his “GranTourismo” Fall Tour alongside Nick Thomas (formerly of The Spill Canvas) and Cassio Monroe. Deleasa traveled throughout the northeast, playing 9 cities along the way.
Displaying a work ethic that even seasoned professionals can’t help but respect, Deleasa has spent the last few years focusing on a relentless schedule of live shows and recording. The attitude of his writing is well reflected in his live show, where Deleasa constantly pushes to connect with listeners and ensure a good time. He has since dispersed his music all the way across the U.S. and into Latin America.
Deleasa released his first EP A Collection Of Sight & Sound Vol. 1 in December of 2012, showcasing his pop sensibility and love of organic musicality. Taking the time to perfect his craft, Deleasa followed up with his highly acclaimed second EP Lil’ Something this past summer. Fans can hear the various influences of Deleasa throughout Lil’ Something, which range from Jamiroquai and Al Green, to A Tribe Called Quest and Flume.
