Drew Seeley’s New Music Is Finally Here – Listen Now

Drew Seeley is back with new music – and I genuinely couldn’t be more excited about it. The singer has just dropped an album called “Downtime” that he’s created over the course of his live theater performing schedule. And while he has (thankfully!) never left the music world, it feels sweet to have him back.

“It’s been a few years since I’ve released any new music (except for the occasional Christmas tune),” Drew shared on his website. “This is a compilation album of songs I co-wrote over the last few years while on the road with Jersey Boys, and traveling. Writing is how I like to spend my down time, hence the title of this collection. Thanks for the continued love and support. Hope you enjoy these tunes as much as I did recording them.”

It is perfect that Drew specifically calls out the writing on this album, because his lyrics are so captivating, relatable, and real. This work is going to be on replay on my go-to playlist for a long time.

In addition to dropping his latest album, Drew has also released the music video for the poignant and beautiful song “Battle Lines.”

The song follows the journey of the natural series of challenges that come with a relationship – and the video stars his wife Amy Paffrath. Amy is not only the inspiration for this particular song, but has a big influence on Drew’s work.

“She’s the muse for all my music, and inspired me to get back in the studio,” Drew shared with JustJaredJr. “So I’m releasing a new song every month this year, and this one’s about love, ‘Battle Lines.’ No matter how hard things may get, if you find the right person, it’s always worth fighting for.”

Make sure to check out Drew’s new music video above, and pick up his album on iTunes or stream it on Spotify now.
