2019 has been a big one for Dylan Scott so far!
This year, the country singer returned to music for the first time in two years with the release of his brand new EP Nothing To Do Town. Featuring six songs with a “home is where the heart is” theme, the record has been resonating with country music fans all over the world as it’s his first No. 1 debut on the Billboard Country Album Sales Chart!
“I can’t thank my fans enough,” shares Scott in statement. “This EP is all of me – from my Bastrop, LA, roots, to my home life with my beautiful wife, son and our little girl on the way. All of your support means so much.”
The overwhelming support doesn’t end with the EP release. Scott has officially surpassed superstar status in our book, as he’s hit over 600 million streams and 4 million sales with all of his music, including his self-titled debut project.
“The [stories] that really get me are the ‘man you helped my husband and I or my wife and I through this’ or ‘you helped me through a breakup’,” he told Celeb Secrets on the red carpet at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards in March, where he was nominated for “Best New Country Artist” at the show. “That’s why you write music; to touch people. So that’s what we do it for.”
Scott will be taking his chart topping hits on the road this summer as he will be on tour with Chris Young for his Raised on Country Tour 2019 beginning next Thursday (May 16), with appearances at the 2019 CMA Music Festival and more. Click here for a full list of tour dates.
