Pop-Tarts took the #CrazyGoodSummer 50th Birthday Bash concert tour to the Rosemont Theatre on Wednesday evening (August 13) in Chicago, IL.
The concert began with supporting act Ari Zizzo and opening act Kalin and Myles. During Kalin and Myles’ set, the fans were jumping up and down and singing along to their catchy raps. The guys opened their set with “Swoop” and performed other fan favorites including “Do My Step,” “Feel Like Party’n,” “Nobody But You,” “Love Robbery,” “Got You,” “Chase Dreams,” and a cover of Ke$Ha’s “Die Young.”
After Kalin and Myles finished their set, it was time for Emblem3 to perform. The lights dimmed and the girls screamed when Wesley and Keaton Stromberg walked on stage. The band opened their set with their summer west coast anthem “I Love LA” and performed their catchy, upbeat songs from their debut album such as “Just For One Day,” “Girl Next Door,” “Spaghetti,” “Teenage Kings,” the ballad “3,000 Miles,” and the smash hit “Chloe (You’re the One I Want).” Fans were excited to hear Wes and Keaton perform original songs including “Reason” with a blend of Macklemore’s “Can’t Hold Us,” “Say What You Mean,” and “Tequila Sunrise.” Finally, Emblem3 proved to fans that they are here to stay when they performed two new songs titled that were written and recorded without ex-band member Drew Chadwick. The two songs were titled “Love Will Be There” and “Obsessed.”
