Happy Friday, everyone!
Summer is finally here it’s one of our favorite times of the year for two main reasons: school is finally out and the weather is amazing!
Summer is a time where we can do anything. We can hang out with friends, hit up the beach and of course go camping! We had the pleasure of going to the premiere party for Nickelodeon’s Sizzling Summer Camp Special and it was all kinds of fun.
The screening was held at the Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank, CA. As soon as I walked on the Nickelodeon grounds, I saw where the party was going to take place. Outside the studio was set up like a campsite, inspired by none other than the TV special! There were little tents everywhere, a very big orange canoe, and of course some summer food including PINKS Hot Dogs, drinks, and delicious funfetti s’mores. In addition, there was a DJ bumping all of our favorite jams.

Before all of the festivities, all of the Nick stars participating in the special, including cast members from Henry Danger, The Thundermans, School of Rock, Game Shakers, and Nicky Ricky, Dicky & Dawn walked the orange carpet to chat with press about the TV special.
Dance Moms’ Jojo Siwa and School of Rock’s Jade Pettyjohn stopped to chat with Celeb Secrets to talk all things summer, including their plans, favorite memories, anthems, fashion pieces, and of course one essential they would bring with them if they ever went to a summer camp.
The outstanding special, created by the creators who brought you Austin & Ally (Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert) centers around our favorite Nick stars who head out to a sleep-away camp for the summer. They eventually come to the conclusion that ‘Camp Nickelodeon’ is actually haunted by mysterious creatures that have been roaming the campsite for years. 😱
As Jade Pettyjohn, Casey Simpson, Jack Griffo, Lizzy Greene, and Kyla Drew Simmons set out to find the mysterious creature that is haunting the campsite, there are hilarious sketches and amazing musical numbers in between. In one of the sketches, Sean Ryan Fox is literally the “Worst Guy at the Beach” and The Thunderman’s Kira Kosarin shows off her rap skills that are straight up fire!
The special is so hilarious and it’s perfect for the entire family! Be sure to catch Nickelodeon’s Sizzling Summer Camp Special this Sunday, June 4th @ 7PM ET/PT on Nickelodeon.
