Shake It Up! star Roshon Fegan invited us to his 20th birthday party AND EP release show at SpeedZone in Los Angeles, CA! Tons of Roshon’s family, friends, and even fans came out to support on this special day. CelebSecrets4U’s junior field reporter Amber gave us the 411 on what happened that night. Take a read below:
Roshon’s birthday party/EP release was on Saturday, October 8 2011. Tt was held at SpeedZone in the city of Industry California. People started arriving on the red carpet at about 6:30 pm. Some that showed up to show support were Claire Geare (Dream House), Taylor Geare (Dream House), Elsie Fisher (Despicable Me), Saige Ryan Campbell (Pink-E Swear), Jared Kusnitz (Disney’s Prom), Jennessa Rose (Glee: Live!), Zach Callison (Hannah Montana), Zachary Alexander Rice (Jimmy Kimmel Live!), Austin Anderson (Victorious), Brandon Tyler Russell (Supah Ninjas), Matthew Glen Johnson (Good Luck Charlie), Alisyn Ashley Arm (So Random!), Dylan Riley Snyder (Kickin’ It), Damien Haas (So Random!), Davis Clevland (Shake It Up!), Leon Thomas III (Victorious) Matthew “Mdot” Finley (Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam), Jazzlyn Marae, Mandy from Savvy and Mandy (Savvy was home sick! :'(), Manny On the Streetz (KIIS FM), The Secret Life of the American Teenager‘s Francia Raisa, Camille Winbush, Allen Evanglista and Logan Browning (Meet the Browns).
Everyone was given a two hour playing card for games inside of SpeedZone. They even had face panting and a station to have feathers put in your hair! Abba Zabba was hosting an amatuer dance contest too, where the audience even picked the winner!Chi-town’s finest breakers were the opening dance act. They are young kids who were tearing up the stage in my opinion!
Roshon totally owned the stage. He was singing and dancing and everyone around him was having a good time. After his last song, Manny on the Streetz came out and Roshon donated a portion of the proceeds ($500) from the night to CHOC — a charity CelebSecrets4U supports which is also known as the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. Then, all of Roshons RObots sang happy birthday to him while he was given a sweet birthday cake. Roshon came out afterwards to sign posters and take pictures with all his fans. I saw him later on inside playing video games..AH!
Overall, it was such a fun and relaxed night! All of Roshon’s friends who came outside were meeting fans, going on Go-Karts and playing games.
You were able to buy posters of Roshon at his merch table. He was also selling dog tags, bracelets and little backpacks all with Roshon’s name engraved inside. The CD’s werent ready in time for the party, so instead his management told us they had these really cool RObotz flash drive that has his EP on it along with some cool pics. I was able to buy one, and I absolutely love it!
