The Stars & Strikes Bowling Event was definitely a night to remember!
Benefitting A Place Called Home, the charity provides guidance and support in children’s lives, whether it be through creative expression, education, health / nutrition, as well as career guidance and community initiatives. The Youth Center in Los Angeles has now helped over 4,000 children with their programs. Now in its 11th year, the annual event held at PINZ Bowling Center on March 9 raised awareness for APCH’s free programs in education, the arts, athletics and vocational preparation for youth in South Central Los Angeles.
The guest list included some of the most influential names in entertainment; artists and personalities shared their support for the cause, including Normani Kordei (Fifth Harmony) as the main ambassador. The pop star states:
I really support the youth and I want them to be the best that they can possibly be. It doesn’t matter what background you come from, it doesn’t matter what ethnicity, shape, size you are. As long as you put in the work, and you believe in yourself, then you can achieve anything that you want.
Seeing so many young artists involved and personally moved by the association was incredibly special! Olivia Holt, Alec Joseph, Twan Kuyper, Ciara Wilson, Hey Violet, Evaride, Kiiara, Wiz Khalifa, Miguel, Symon, The Heirs, Kyle, Ho99o9, Eden, Thank You X, Austin Brown, and Forever In Your Mind were also in attendance while raising awareness to a good cause.
The event shows that no matter what, children and teenagers need and deserve some fun, and why not do it whilst raising funds for an amazing cause!
