Get to Know the Cast of Disney Channel’s Newest Series “Fast Layne” (Watch)

Celeb Secrets sits down with the young actors to learn more about their new show!

We’re only THREE days away from the world premiere of Disney Channel’s Fast Layne, and Celeb Secrets is introducing you to the new miniseries that could be described by this word only… exhilarating.

Twelve-year-old Layne Reed (Sophie Pollono) has her overly-organized life scheduled down to the minute, including homework, music lessons and a ton of extracurricular activities. She’s even found time to run for president of her middle school. Her life is turned upside down when, along with her free-spirited neighbor Zora (Sofia Rosinsky), she discovers a tech-enhanced talking car named “VIN” hidden beneath an abandoned shed in her backyard.

A mischievous VIN convinces the girls to release him from his confinement, and with a shout of his favorite catchphrase—”Cue tire squeal!”—takes them on an exciting joyride around the neighborhood. Luckily, Layne can turn to her classmate Cody (Brandon Rossel), a smart and charming boy who works in his Abuelo’s garage and has a talent for fixing cars, even complicated ones like VIN. She also navigates prodding questions from her younger cousin Mel (Winslow Fegley), a nosy survivalist-in-training who is determined to uncover her secret.

CS sat down with the cast to learn more about their characters, the atmosphere on set, and some behind-the-scenes secrets that you would never know when watching the show. You’ve got to watch the full video below for more!

Make sure to tune in to Fast Layne this Friday, February 15th after the premiere of Kim Possible on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.
