Toronto-based pop/rock group Girl Pow-R are doing exactly what their name states. They are spreading girl power to females all over the world with their catchy music!
The teens are tackling the subject of experiencing difficulty in their new song “Stronger Than Yesterday” and Celeb Secrets has your first look to the track’s new video. Filmed in six different locations all throughout Toronto, the fun visual shows the girls dancing their hearts out while singing along to lyrics about believing in yourself and being confident.
“Filming our music video was a very fun and amazing experience,” the girls told us exclusively. “We had multiple clothing changes, performed our choreography that we do when we are on tour, did a live performance where we played our instruments and sang, used this really cool white bridge that connects two parts of the city, and more!”
“The most challenging part was we were planning on playing our instruments and singing on the beach, but the wind was so strong coming off of Lake Ontario, that it was blowing sand directly into our eyes, and we couldn’t play or sing because of that! Instead, we moved in a bit to a grassy area that had trees blocking the wind, and we sang as people passed behind us on the boardwalk,” they continued.
