After Zane Lowe premiered the song yesterday on Apple Music’s Beats 1, Halsey hit Billboard’s #1 spot on the Trending Artist chart – even though the song was not yet available outside of the Beats radio plays. Until now!
Hot on the heels of her acclaimed Room 93 EP, Halsey will release her full-length debut album, BADLANDS [Astralwerks], on August 28, 2015. BADLANDS is an artfully constructed concept album, musically tracing a journey through a dystopia that may be how the future looks if you were living in the past.
The digital pre-order is live now, and landed Halsey at #1 on the alternative iTunes chart and #2 on iTunes Overall Albums Chart.
