Halsey to Support Imagine Dragons and Metric on Upcoming North American Tour (@halseymusic)

HalseyContinuing her mass musical seduction of the entire world, Halsey will support Imagine Dragons and Metric this summer on their upcoming North American tour. She joins the Smoke + Mirrors Tour on June 3 in Portland, OR through the Boise, ID show on August 1.  Before Imagine Dragons, Halsey will embark on The American You(th) Tour co-headlining with Young Rising Sons March 11. Halsey’s unpredictable and impassioned shows are garnering the attention of dedicated young music fans everywhere.

This 20-year-old New Jersey-born singer first started heating up with the recent release of her debut single “Ghost” and critically acclaimed EP, Room 93 [Astralwerks]. In January she claimed the top two spots on Billboard’s Emerging Artists Chart for the second time. Igniting global chatter, Halsey became a worldwide trending topic on Twitter numerous times in the past few months.

The excitement around Halsey is about to hit a fever pitch. As soon as tickets went on sale for her first headlining tour, they completely sold out in less than an hour—tickets for the Los Angeles date were gone in under a minute and less than four minutes for New York.

With her performance of “Hurricane,” Halsey also broke the record for “fastest tracking VEVO DSCVR artist” since the U.S. program launched, taking the title from Shawn Mendes. She’s a new participant in Spotify’s EMERGE program with the campaign set to go live on February 15.

As “Ghost” continues to spread word-of-mouth, with over 3 million Spotify plays and counting, a special remix bundle called Room 93 Revisited goes live March 3 with additional EPs coming later this spring.
