As we head into the end of the year, it is no surprise that we all start feeling the comfort of cold weather, big sweaters, and hot cocoa.
Well, not me.
I live in sunny Miami, where we are at the beach or pool 24/7. A “cool” 80 degrees welcomes the winter weather, and the change of seasons means new bikinis. While the rest of my friends and family in the Northeast call me complaining about shoveling snow, I am lathering myself in tanning oil in South Beach.
Although some may find the Miami lifestyle fun and care-free, most people do not understand the struggles of living where most vacation. Despite the fact that every time you walk outside, you immediately start sweating, it is really tough to find clothing that is flattering and weather appropriate.
Everyone knows that in Miami, less is more, especially with bikinis. It is often very hard to find good quality swimwear that you can feel beautiful, confident, sexy, and strong in. Beautiful Sol Swimwear does absolutely that. With their vibrant styles and colors, there is something in each collection for everyone. After stumbling upon this brand on social media, I decided to give it a try, hoping that some new pieces would spice up my swimsuit collection for the fall/winter months down here in SoFlo. Upon receiving the packages, I immediately became OBSESSED with this brand and I wanted more!

Beautiful Sol Swimwear is a luxury swimwear line based out of San Diego, California which is designed by two fabulous ladies Valeria Jaramillo and Gina Rozo. Each suit is handmade by women for women, which is an absolute game changer when it comes to style and fit. It is very evident that the products are made with all types of women in mind, which is very hard to find in other swimsuit lines, making the brand even more unique.
Beautiful Sol’s mission is to “connect people around the globe, bringing Columbian color and inspiration to more people.” Not only are their bikinis well-made with high quality materials, but their sales and portion of profit also contribute to “catalyze economic opportunity for women and children in Colombia.”
In each package, there is also a hand-made bracelet made by women in Colombia. I thought this was a nice little surprise, and when I sport my new swimsuit with unapologetic femininity and confidence, I also know that this purchase not only benefitted me, but those struggling in Colombia. It definitely adds a personal touch to each product, which I love.
I received 3 bikinis from Beautiful Sol, each a different cut and style.
The first one being “Birds of Paradise” top with matching Brazilian cut bottoms. I love the cool tones to this suit, making it flattering on top without spilling out and over. The bandeau top covers just the right amount of skin in my opinion, giving a sexy feel without trying too hard. In addition, there is intricate hand-embroidered sequin, thread, and bead detailing within the pattern, which gives an elegant, yet beachy vibe to the suit. The bottoms are a bit more cheeky, yet comfortable, which is usually rare for me to find.
The second bikini I received was the “Leopard Print Bikini” (with adjustable thong). This suit was my absolute favorite. The leopard print is very on trend, and the elastic velvet fabric adds a unique look and feel to the common style. The top gives a nice lift to the bust line, while the adjustable bottoms allow for the option of sporting it either high or low waisted. The detailing in this bikini definitely does not go unnoticed. The strings are accompanied by orange tassels, giving the suit a sexy, luxurious bohemian vibe.
The last bikini I received was the “Lollipop Bikini” (with high waisted bottoms). This suit allows for that classy color blocking look, while still remaining fun and flirty. Its pastel bralette top ties in front, giving an extra bit of support up top. The bottoms reach just above the belly button, accentuating the hips and waist, while also remaining a bit cheeky. As always, Beautiful Sol’s soft Columbian fabric makes it easy to relax on the beach or pool while still feeling feminine.
