Hunter Hayes is gearing up for an eventful CMA Awards week. The CMA Award-winner and four-time GRAMMY nominee will appear on ABC’s “Countdown to the CMA Awards: 15 Songs That Changed Country Music with Robin Roberts” airing at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT tonight, Nov. 3, before Hayes takes the stage outside Bridgestone Arena in Nashville at 10:30 p.m. for a special concert leading up to “The 48th Annual CMA Awards.” He also appeared in the latest installment of CMT’s “Inside Fame” series, which premiered Saturday, Nov. 1 and can also be viewed online here.

Hayes has earned the attention. At 23, the platinum-selling singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Louisiana is one of country music’s top young stars with four GRAMMY Award nominations, more than 9 million digital downloads and a place on Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list. Fans will get plenty of opportunities to learn more about Hayes and see him perform over the next week.

During the latest installment of CMT’s popular “Inside Fame” biography series, the hour-long show detailed Hayes’ upbringing in Breaux Bridge, his childhood inspirations and his experiences recording his second album, Storyline. The show also featured never-before-seen performances as well.

Tonight, Hayes will help ABC educate viewers on the history of the genre on “Countdown to the CMA Awards: 15 Songs That Changed Country Music with Robin Roberts.” The show, which airs at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, chronicles the most important songs to today’s top stars.

Hayes will also perform a free concert as part of the USO’s “Every Moment Counts” campaign at 10:30 p.m. in downtown Nashville in front of Bridgestone Arena. The party, presented by exclusive radio partner WSIX, will celebrate Sergeant First Class Tyler Arnold and his family and other service men and women stationed at nearby Fort Campbell. Arnold has been deployed six times and is being honored by the USO for his service, sacrifice and strength.
