It was the definition of girl power at the AFFFAIR! Spring/Summer 2019 Collection at New York Fashion Week!
Allison Holker (ABC’s Dancing with the Stars) and Rydel Lynch (Singer, R5) were just a few of the 500 guests that showed up to see Azerbaijani fashion designer, Rufat Ismayil, debut his AFFFAIR’s “Power of Fire” collection.
“Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.” says Ismayilov.
Ismayil is the first designer to represent his home country at New York Fashion Week. The theme “Fashion Beyond Continents, Power of Fire from The Land of Fire,” was evident as each piece lit up the catwalk. As an ambassador of Azerbaijani fashion, the designer wanted his audience “to discover, experience and enjoy the Haute Couture creations made in the Land of Fire.
Celeb Secrets’ own Juliet Schroder and myself got the chance to experience a few shows this week – and let me tell you – AFFFAIR was E-P-I-C! Besides the dope music we found ourselves dancing to, we were left speechless by the feminine, sophisticated and bold designs. The SS19 collection was full of sexy cutouts, plunging necklines, and powerful yet luxurious details.
