Celeb Secrets: Why do you think our readers should listen to your music?

Ivy Layne: “I would love for your readers to experience the electro funk and pop rhythm fusion sound that I always talk about. It’s very addicting, I want your readers to dance and relate to some of the lyrics on the EP. The love songs are not cliché, I use clever analogies and metaphors to take them to that place. At the end of the day, you will feel something.”

Celeb Secrets: What are 5 secrets about making your EP that people wouldn’t know when listening to it?

Ivy Layne: “The whole EP was recorded within a week. During the whole recording process, we would stop everything to dance to some old school reggae music. I am very health conscious and drink a lot of water, so we consumed a case of 24 bottles of water every day. At least 4 languages were spoken during the process, you heard English, Spanish, French, Creole, and it felt like the United Nations assembly. I don’t mean to put him on the spot, but there was a man crying when he heard the music, honestly.”
