Janet Jackson Unbreakable Tour Postposed Til 2017 – Refunds Available

Janet Jackson fans are not too happy with the singer canceling the second leg of her Unbreakable tour this past Wednesday. Back in December, the singer revealed a tour delay to recover from an unspecified surgery and now she’s postponing once again, but this time, to start a family.

“I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour,” she told fans in a video released on Twitter on Wednesday. “Please, if you can try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”

Fans were being told that they won’t be able to get refunds. Ticketmaster sent out an email to ticketholders, saying that until they get an official word about a cancellation, they are treating it as a postponement or reschedule. They didn’t even have an idea on whether or not Janet will be back.

Luckily all that confusion was resolved! Jackson’s camp and Ticketmaster have finally figured it out and have stated that they will be honoring tickets purchased for rescheduled shows in 2017, when the tour will presumably will resume, and refunds are available.

Just in time – Jackson fans were almost at their breaking point.
