Jenny March isn’t looking to be any guy’s rebound, and its a whole MOOD for 2020.
The LA-based singer/songwriter released the powerful new track — appropriately titled “Rebound” — along with a stunning visual back in November.
According to March, the song is about a love interest who she had her eye on for quite some time but couldn’t make her move because he was in a relationship. When the stars aligned for Jenny and this significant other to unite after his break up, she declined because she truly cared for him and wanted to be more to him than his “rebound.”
“‘Rebound’ is actually one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written,” Jenny tells Celeb Secrets.
“After going through this experience, I knew I had to write a song about it. I wrote ‘Rebound’ very quickly and I knew I was onto something that a lot of girls can relate to. I had really strong feelings for this friend for years but I couldn’t tell him. I know my worth and I’m not going to be anyone’s ‘Rebound’.”
The track follows Jenny’s infectious single “FUWY,” a pop-tastic track about getting lost in the moment of the party with the person you want the most, her relatable “Normal In Love,” the summer-soaked “Talk To Me,” and her debut single “California Daze.”
