Jesse McCartney Drops “Better With You” Music Video

Inspiring new music from Jesse? It’s exactly what we need in our lives.

“Have you heard the new Jesse McCartney song?” is a question that’s been on my lips since the artist first started making music over 14 years ago (!!!). Every time the artist puts out a new track, I just need everybody in my life to know about it. Because it’s a rarity, but it’s also a moment. And that’s definitely the case with his latest single, “Better With You.” Which is why I started my text chain back up immediately, to spread the word.

We all know that it can be haunting, depressing, and discouraging to turn on the news, to read the headlines, or tackle life’s scariest moments. But as Jesse notes in his inspiring new lyrics, some things are better with “you,” the one who makes you feel like you’re not alone. Cue my tears.

Jesse also released the music video for this poignant track, and you’ll see actress Danielle Campbell co-starring as the “you” who makes everything better. At first listen, I was caught up in my feels about the actual lyrics of the song, but the video was a punch in the emotional gut. We see a couple going through adorable highlights, challenging tough times, and all the mundane moments that make up the in between.

But in the last few seconds of the video (which I won’t spoil for you, because you need this moment in your life too), we see how unbelievable easily things could have had an entirely different outcome.

So now I’m asking you, reader: have you heard the new Jesse McCartney song? I know that Jesse isn’t one of those in-your-face artists whose music is constantly pumping through radios. (Though I’ll always argue that he should be.) But when you remember how much his songs mean to you, I know you’ll be psyched to hear his latest message.

Be sure to check out his new video above, show your support by downloading the track for yourself. Since the both of us already know it’s about to be on forever repeat. While you’re at it, make sure to leave us your reactions below!
