Joe Jonas is looking top to the bottom cool in his shiny new iridescent sneakers!
The singer released a pair of shoes in collaboration with footwear brand, KOIO on Thursday (June 3). In an interview with Billboard, Jonas describes the KOIO x Joe Jonas Retro Runners as a versatile shoe that can be worn dressed up or dressed down.
In a conversation with KOIO, Jonas talks about how he drew inspiration from fashion and aesthetics from the ’80s. When designing the shoe, he often played the movie The Goonies and listened to music from legendary ’80s artists like Boy George, Wham!, and Duran Duran. He looks forward to rocking the shoes this summer on tour with his brothers.
Jonas also shared with Rolling Stone, that he would often ask his wife, Sophie Turner for advice on the shoe design. He calls her his “confidant.” Seriously, how sweet are they?
Earlier this week, Jonas teased the collaboration with old school yearbook photos on Instagram, and they are incredible! He poses in a series of photos as a member of the Class of 1985.
Jonas and his brothers, Nick and Kevin, will be hitting the road this summer for the Remember This tour. Shows start in August and will run through the end of October.
