Has New York Fashion Week sparked a new romance?!
Well, not so fast, but it seems like Joe Jonas is sure spending a lot of time with Tom Ford model Gigi Hadid over the last several days.
In fact, E! News has learned that even though the two have “been friends for some time,” things didn’t start out romantic in the beginning because he was in a relationship.
“Gigi and Joe lately have been hanging out a lot lately,” the insider dished. “They have lots in common and she loves how easygoing he is.”
But it looks like the admiration (or blossoming romance?!) isn’t entire one-sided, either.
“He also has a thing for models. He loves the fashion world and everything attached to it.”
Jonas has been single and ready to mingle since splitting from Blanda Eggenschwiler in early August. The two dated for nearly two years and decided to part ways on good terms. Jonas’ rep released the following statement: “The split was amicable and the two remain friends, with great respect for one another.”
Meanwhile, Hadid recently broken up with Cody Simpson after the two were on-and-off for roughly a year of dating. The pair cited their hectic work schedules for the reason behind the breakup, and the singer explained in a statement that “they decided that rather than let things sour that they split up in hopes that their lives might someday bring them back together.”
