The Men & Women’s Ski Slopestyle Finals took place on Park City Mountain at Sprint’s Park City US Grand Prix on Friday afternoon (February 27) in Park City, UT.

For the men, the competition started to heat up during the third round of runs. Park City native McRae Williams set the bar high with a right 630 out of the first rail feature; a switch 450 on the next; a switch right double cork 10 safety and a switch left double cork 1440 tail to close, scoring a 90.00. Following Williams, Air + Style champ and triple threat Gus Kenworthy rebounded from his last two runs and scored 89.00, putting him in second place.

After Kenworthy locked a spot on the podium, Olympic gold medalist Joss Christensen returned to his home turf and stomped an incredible run, scoring a 92.00 which put the 23-year-old in the gold medal position. Christensen’s winning run consisted of a 270 on 270 off the first rail feature; a switch right 270, pretzel 2 out of the next; a switch left 270 on, pretzel 450 out of the high bar; and then a left double cork 1260 double Japan on jump one, with a switch right double cork 1080 safety to close.

For the women, X Games gold medalist Emma Dahlström dominated the course with stylish tricks on the rails and a right 5 safety and a switch left 7 tail to her feet on the jumps.
