Today, this year’s biggest global breakthrough artist—Julia Michaels—received her first-ever GRAMMY nominations in the top categories of “Best New Artist” and “Song Of The Year” for her RIAA triple-platinum debut single “Issues.” These nominations mark yet another milestone for Michaels as “Issues” has now passed 1 Billion streams worldwide.

“So what you’re telling me is.. DREAMS DO COME TRUE!!!!! What is today?!?! I’m still in absolute shock and feel like I’m walking on a million clouds! Thank you @recordingacademy for seeing me as an artist and not just as a songwriter. You have no idea what that means to me. If you need me today, I will be jumping on my bed and eating pizza! 🙂 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍” Michaels posted to Instagram earlier today.

Michaels’ GRAMMY nominations for “Best New Artist” and “Song of The Year” add to a growing list of achievements this year including nominations from the American Music Awards (New Artist of the Year), MTV’s EMAS (Best New Artist and Best PUSH Artist), MTV VMAS (Best New Artist), Billboard Music Awards (Top Covered Artist), Teen Choice Awards (Choice Song: Female and Choice Breakout Artist), Radio Disney Music Awards (The Freshest) and more.

The 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards air LIVE from Madison Square Garden on Sunday, January 26th @ 7:30PM ET on CBS.
