Justin Bieber has come a long way over the past three years since joking about retirement. Since his last released album ‘Journals’ in December 2013 Justin has managed to stay off the radar and clean up his look. Now, Justin is back with a new album and upcoming tour that is already setting records!
In 2013 many of Justin’s friends and family, including his mother Pattie Mallette, his manager Scooter Braun, and other close friends suggested he’d take a break, since then we’ve seen a lot of growing up happen and Justin thinks so too. In late August, Justin interviewed with Elvis Duran and admitted “Yeah, that wasn’t me! But we all have those moments”. Fair enough – all teen boys can be immature, however not all are looked at under a microscope followed by hundreds of cameras, paparazzi and millions of screaming fans!
Earlier this year, Justin really began to humbly clean up his act when Comedy Central hosted a ‘Roast of Justin Bieber’ where other celebrities including Snoop Dog, Kevin Heart, and Martha Stewart poked fun at the Biebs. After sitting through two hours of being made fun of, Justin humbly ended the roast by apologizing for his old ways:
“There was really no preparing me for this life. I was thrown into this at 12 years old, and I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into. There’s been moments I’m really proud of and a lot of moments I look back and I’m pretty disappointed with myself for. But the things that I’ve done really don’t define who I am. I’m a kind-hearted person who loves people and through it all, lost some of my best qualities. For that, I’m sorry,”
Purpose went on pre-order on October 16th and has been labeled the biggest album in iTunes history! Since, Justin has recently released his newest album “Purpose: Deluxe” he’s released two songs What Do You Mean? along with Where Are Ü Now ft. Skrillex; both have an EDM style beat. Could this say something about the album as a whole? Justin currently has a countdown for his newest song “Sorry” which ALSO features Skrillex! However, the new album will feature 19 songs and a variety of artist including, Skrillex, Arianna Grande and even Kanye West!
Purpose: Deluxe is set to release on November 13th, 2015. We are looking forward to seeing the great success in the upcoming year, and on the Purpose tour in 2016! Official tour announcement are set to drop right after the release of the album on November 13th so keep your eyes peeled!
