Kid Ink stars in the third installment of 1800 Tequila’s groundbreaking video series, “Enough Said Episodes.” The rapper joins Ray Liotta and Michael K. Williams in the series, which showcases the famed hip-hop recording artist preserving his streets–bred personality as his star continues to rise.
In the video, which includes the chart-topping single “Hell and Back,” Kid Ink talks about growing up in Los Angeles, using music to navigate the mean streets of Los Angeles, and inspiring others to pursue their dreams.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Kid Ink credits the different music, sounds, vibes, food and religions of the city for making him a better artist, a more open-minded artist.
“The toughest thing about LA is staying out of the streets,” Kid Ink says. However, he was fortunate enough to be in a neighborhood where there was somebody willing to help out and set up a program with a bunch of music equipment, and he fell in love with the music side of things right then and there at the age of 16.
“When I saw that I was able to actually take people out of the streets with me and inspire them to do other things that was definitely a big thing that came from that too,” he says in the video.
“I still have moments that humble me and I think I’m blessed to have those moments.”
