While she’s never been accused of being shy, LAURA BELL BUNDY boldly opens up on her forthcoming album ANOTHER PIECE OF ME (Big Machine Records).
In advance of the worldwide release, beginning June 9, the Kentucky native proves “I Am What I Am” in a new music video, out now.
Director Becky Fluke shot the video in Switzerland, encompassing a wide-open freedom heard in the lyrics and viewed in the scenery. From biking on an abandoned road to singing on mountaintops, LBB has no boundaries and enlists a few “passionate,” “fearless,” “silly,” “misunderstood” and “driven” dreamers to do the same. The anthem evokes a carefree yet raw candor, encouraging people to have, “no line between what I think and what I say … I am what I am.”
Exposing her diverse life experiences and talents throughout the 15 track project, of which she co-penned more than half, LBB has been giving fans a sneak peek across social media to reveal the official tracklisting, photos and stories behind each song. The multi-faceted entertainer, who has appeared in significant roles on television (Hart of Dixie and Anger Management) and Broadway (Legally Blonde and Wicked), began writing at the age of 14. Pre-order ANOTHER PIECE OF ME now with two full tracks made available leading up to the official release.
LBB will take on the Belk Park Stage during CMA Music Festival in Nashville on Friday, June 12 from 4:05 – 4:30P. She will perform new songs as well as “Two Step,” which she performed while touring with Rascal Flatts. For tour dates and more, visit laurabellbundy.com.
