Laura Marano Teams Up with BoTalks for “Weekend” – Listen Now

The weekend is officially here, and so is Laura Marano‘s collaborative new electronic pop track with BoTalks (the musical duo created by Alex Kinsey and Johan Lindbrant). This jam is perfectly titled “Weekend,” and it will have you grooving right on up until those Sunday Scaries start trying to sink in.

So what’s the deal with this song? Not only is “Weekend” a pumped-up, party-ready anthem, but it features some truly relatable lyrics. Have you ever had someone come up to you with a last minute work issue as you’re getting ready to leave the office on a Friday afternoon? Maybe you were planning to duck out early to get ready to have a fun evening, and there someone is needing you to sign off on some dilemma. Or perhaps you’ve hit up an event with your circle of friends, and someone decides to start some drama as soon as you’re starting to get into the vibe.

Either way, the sentiment is the same: can we just have fun and deal with this on Monday?

We love the fun vibes of this song, and it’s so exciting to see these three artists blending their styles together like this.

Be sure to listen to BoTalks and Laura Marano’s latest song “Weekend” in the YouTube or Spotify players above, and leave us all of your reactions below.
