Lex Ishimoto Wins Season 14 of “So You Think You Can Dance”

The winner of So You Think You Can Dance Season 14 has been announced!

Last night, Lex Ishimoto snagged the title of “America’s Favorite Dancer” during the show’s dramatic two-hour season finale. Fellow finalists Koine Iwasaki, Kiki Nyemchek and Taylor Sieve were eliminated as host Cat Deeley revealed the voting results.

In addition to naming America’s Favorite Dancer, the live finale featured Vanessa Hudgens and Shawn Hook performing their hit single, “Reminding Me,” as well as two performances by the returning Top 10 finalists and All-Stars, from Emmy Award-winning choreographers Mia Michaels and Mandy Moore.

Ishimoto, 19, from Irvine, CA, received the most votes and danced off with the cash prize of $250,000, the cover of Dance Spirit magazine and the title of America’s Favorite Dancer. Ishimoto also will join the rest of the Top 10 and All-Stars Jasmine Harper and Marko Germar for the So You Think You Can Dance Season 14 Tour, which kicks off Thursday, Oct. 5 at the Chicago Theatre in Chicago, IL.
